On the first day of law school classes, I felt completely prepared for the experience. The week I spent at the Chicago Law Preview was long and challenging, BUT I cannot emphasize enough how much better I felt while at 1L Orientation for my school. While everyone was losing years off their lives trying to learn how to brief a case in addition to worrying about the subject matter, requirements, and hours of dedication needed for each course, I breezed through Orientation and the first few weeks of school with significantly less stress than I would have suffered had I not gone to Law Preview. Moreover, Don's talks in particular prepared me to deal with the mind games played by professors and students. While I was unable to spend the recommended 8 hours/day of studying, I was satisfied with my first-semester performance.
