Wake Forest Law Students
First-year grades are important -- very important. Your 1L grades at Wake Forest University School of Law will not only determine your eligibility for law review and other honors, but will dictate what job opportunities are available when you graduate. This is because the most selective legal employers recruit law students at the beginning of their second year, and they often will only interview law students who finished at the top of their 1L class. Given the staggering cost of a legal education, and a highly competitive legal hiring market, adopting a trial-and-error approach as a 1L is a flawed strategy. Learn why preparing for the challenges you will face during your first year of law school can help protect the substantial investment you are about to make in your legal education.
More than 99% of our surveyed customers have said Law Preview met or exceeded their expectations:
Law Preview gives you an overview of what your first year experience, but it doesn't really teach you how to "think" like a law student. That's something that you'll learn on your own throughout your first year of law school. Unfortunately for other students that never experienced Law Preview, they are at a serious disadvantage because they are attempting to accomplish this as well as attempting to see the bigger picture in first-year courses. Law Preview paints that picture for you, you can focus on gaining those analytical skills that are critical to success. Not only that, Law Preview helps alleviate the stress and anxiety every first year student encounters. Because of Law Preview's strategies, I reached my goals of being in the top 10% during my first year, and am only more determined to do better. Thanks Law Preview!
I attended Law Preview at Harvard about this time last year. My first year was very successful. I'm ranked in the top ten (by #) of my class, made law review, and moot court. I enjoyed your program and thought it provided useful insight to prepare for the first year.
Don, I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for the Law Preview program. I just finished my first semester at Wake Forest and finished with a 92.1 gpa (out of 100). More important than the grades, I never got stressed out or depressed about law school. Not even once. I knew what I had to do to succeed and I stuck to the plan. It feels very good to know that all it takes to succeed in law school is a great plan and a lot of hard work. This semester I intend to be more efficient than I was last semester, while still putting in the same amount of time and effort. I have never been more excited about school! Thanks again.
I was terrified about going to law school. Talking to lawyers and current law students just made it worse. I knew I needed something to give me some confidence and teach me how to survive in what I'd been told was an incredibly harsh environment. I found Law Preview. After the session was over I was still nervous, but I wasn't in the dark. What I discovered was that Law Preview gave me such a huge advantage over my peers that I almost felt bad for them. Almost. A year later, I'm one of the Top 15 students in my class and on Law Review. I am very, very grateful to Law Preview and its faculty.
