People often ask how Law Preview students perform in law school. To find out, we surveyed 925 first-year students who attended our 5- or 6-day session during the summer of 2005. During their 2005-06 first year of law school, we are proud to report that the median class rank of the students who completed our survey was 20.7%. Compare that to the median rank of law students overall which, by definition, is 50.0%.
Do you want to work at a prestigious law firm when you graduate from law school? Clerk for a federal or state court judge? Almost every dream job is easier to get if you have great grades. The simple truth of law school is that great first-year grades create job opportunities while poor grades destroy them. Many employers – be they private or public – only interview students who finish towards the top of their class in law school.
Experts agree, Law Preview fills a important void in today's legal education:
The Law Preview bootcamp offers a one-per-day overview of the basics of each first-year course and an excellent set of accompanying written materials to help incoming law students grasp the overarching concepts of each course, and, as the old expression goes, 'see the forest for the trees.' . . . Law Preview provides an excellent, long overdue product. Taking the one-week bootcamp cannot help but put you miles ahead of your uninitiated competition.
