Law Preview helped prepare me for the general topics that I would encounter as a 1L. It started me off at school knowing how to brief a case, staying ahead in work, and being prepared to participate in classes. Because I followed the suggested calendar, when reading period came around I was studying my outlines, rather than trying to scrape them together.

I just wanted to thank you guys for the program - as an evening student I was already extremely nervous to tackle classes on top of everything else in life, but I went into my first year focused, ready to analyze and brief cases in a way that I wouldn't have figured out on my own until halfway through the year. A good chunk of cases we read was stuff we'd already covered during the program! Following that great calendar that was sent out to us, I outlined early and was taking practice tests when everyone else was just starting to prepare to outline . . . and now at the end of my first year, I've got a 4.09 GPA and I'm ranked first in my class. You turned a difficult journey into a smooth one and I wanted to thank you!

Definitely took the edge away. Law Preview helps you to understand the substantive law, but that is not truly its purpose. I feel like it takes the anxiety and the struggle away from the first year of law school. [Ranked top 10% after first semester].

Law Preview gave me the jump start I needed so that i didn't wasted time trying to "figure out" law school. I walked into class the first day and was miles ahead of my classmates. I was focused on learning from the first moment, not worrying about how to brief a case or wonder what was important. The supplements provided in class also gave me the boost I needed to supplement the text book. Thanks Law Preview! The BEST money I've spent on my education =) I'll recommend you to ALL future law students!

I am currently a 1L at Loyola Law School. I participated in the Law Preview course this past summer in Los Angeles and the course was very influential in my first semester success because it taught me how to approach the material, remain organized and stay one step ahead. While I still experienced the stressful 1L moments, I was never as stressed as my classmates because I had a plan; I knew how to read cases and case brief, I had a week-by-week study guide, I knew to regularly meet with my professors and most importantly I had the tools I needed to confidently approach the legal material in my classes. I strongly believe that it is due to the training, materials and resources provided by Law Preview that I finished my first semester in law school with a 4.0 GPA. Law Preview is designed to show law students what to expect and how to truly excel in law school and I believe that I am an example of that goal. I truly believe in the program and attribute a lot of my first semester success to having the Law Preview advantage.

Law Preview made me feel confident about going into my first semester. Following the schedule was very helpful and it also helped keep the whole experience in perspective.

By knowing what the terms meant in property, before they were taught, I was reviewing instead of struggling to learn the material along with the other students. I couldn't have done that without Law Preview. Also, just by knowing how to brief cases and outline, it gave me a heads-up that the other students didn't have, and in law school, every advantage counts.

Law Preview told me what I need to do to succeed. It was a long, tough road, but sticking to a set plan, mainly devised by Law Preview, I did extremely well. Thanks to Law Preview, I am ranked in the top 6% and made it on to Law Journal. Because of my first year success I am currently looking at top firms to interview with in the Fall as part of OCI. Law Preview gave me that extra edge I needed to get to where I am.

I felt I was definitely more prepared at the beginning of the semester when a lot of people wondered what a case brief was and what IRAC stood for whereas I could focus on the substantive courses because Law Preview taught me how to approach briefing and exam taking. The exam-taking strategies and advice from the professors were especially helpful. It's like I knew what it took to get an 'A". Thank you [ranked #15 out of 166 after first semester].

My Law Preview experienced allowed me to in general be ahead of everyone else in school. I was able to brief cases and outline a lot sooner than most of my classmates which left me a lot of time during finals to concentrate on studying instead of creating study aids, such as outlines. I also learned how to write an exam from law preview, so I was able to feel confident taking practice exams and my actual exams knowing that I wrote an exam the way my law school professors wanted me to.

Thank you so much! My first semester went so great! The semester reaffirmed for me that I definitely want to be a lawyer. Loyola is a great fit for me and the semester was not as scary as many of the rumors I heard may it seem like it was. Law Preview was a big reason why I think the first semester was not as scary as expected because I was able to hit the ground running with my briefs, outlines, and studying, while my other colleagues were still figuring out how to read a case. I was able to come to school having knowledge as to what to expect and it put me at ease and allowed me to concentrate on studying instead of figuring out how to study. I would recommend Law Preview to anyone coming to law school and have already suggested it to some friends of mine that are considering law school.

I absolutely loved Law Preview and it helped me more than I can express. I was so nervous to begin law school but Law Preview helped eliminate all of my fears by exposing me to different areas of the law that I would learn my first year as well as different methods to handle reading and briefing cases, exams, the Socratic Method, time management, and general stress. While on the first day of class many of my peers had never briefed a case, I already felt comfortable doing so. My familiarity with the first year subjects came in handy numerous times during the semester. I felt more confident with my ability to speak up in class and handle the work load. Overall, I am grateful for my Law Preview experience and would strongly recommend it!

It allowed me to be prepared on the amount of time that I would have to invest into preparing for class and studying for exams. The most valuable tool it gave me was the time management information (ie how long to study each day, when to start outlining, and when to start really studying for exams). Also, it was very useful to know how to read a case and brief it before starting law school.

[Law Preview] provided insight into how to prep. for class (i.e. brief cases) and format of exams. [It] also, provided helpful insight into the layout of the semester, and how I should organize my schedule to be ready for exams at the end of the semester.

Law Preview made me feel more at ease going into the horrible world of law school. . . . I received an honors grade and was in the top 13% of the class. Thanks LP!

Not only did Law Preview ease the transition into law school, but it was a continuous online friend to help me get through the entire first year with just the right amount of emails to keep me motivated and on track. The exam tips were extremely useful and I incorporated the advice into several of my exams. Thanks to what I learned from Law Preview, at the end of my first year I was in the top 20% of my class and on the Dean's List.

It was very helpful to know in advance what means of study would work and which alternative methods have less chance of succeeding. A lot of classmates had to try the other avenues for themselves (to their detriment) - while I had someone give me the recipe ahead of time. The key skill-set we learned at Law Preview was setting a work schedule that was demanding yet realistic at the same time. Many of my peers simply got lost in the overwhelming workload. Also, Don framed the bigger picture of law school and the entry into the legal profession. That was motivating on the one hand while it also served as warning.

It was good coming into law school with an idea of what to expect. Aside from being familiar with some of the substantive material covered in class first semester, it was helpful knowing what to expect from the law school experience. There were multiple occasions during the semester when I found myself looking back on the notes I had taken at law preview for clarification on different things. All in all Law Preview was a great experience [ranked #25 out of 144 after first semester].

Law Preview gave me the foundation I needed to attack the law school challenge at its onset. It was very refreshing to read cases that I had already read before or to hear terms in class that I already knew. I followed much of Law Preview's advice as far as staying on top of things and continuing daily class preparation. I ended up in the top 15% of my class, and I am very happy about how things turned out. I will continue to use the lessons Law Preview taught me in the upcoming semester, and I am hopeful for an equally satisfying second semester.

I attended your course at NYU last August and currently attend Michigan State University. I am at the top of my class and things are looking good for Law Review. . . . The Law Preview course helped out tremendously in achieving academic success during my first year. . . . Thank you very much for your work.
