Law Preview helped me build confidence in my abilities so I did not have to waste time in the first month of law school trying to find the confidence I needed to succeed. It taught me how to focus and excel in the pressure that is law school. . . . Also recieved a C.A.L.I. award in Torts.

The suggestions were really helpful about how to spend breaks and prepare for midterms and finals. The calendar was really useful to see how to spend my time. It was a good feeling to know walking in to school that I had seen some of the cases before and knew how to brief a case.

I think Law Preview gave me a huge advantage coming into 1L year. Rather than coming in with a vague notion that law school would be hard work, I had a clear plan of exactly what kind of work I needed to be doing and how to do it. It was also very helpful getting the alumni updates so you feel like you're not alone and have people who actually understand what law school is like and have been through it there to answer any questions, give advice, and encourage you to stay on track. Though my school doesn't rank 1st year students until the end of 2nd semester, grades are in and I'm thrilled with the results. I got 3 As and 1 B+. I even got the A* in my Torts class. I definitely don't think I would have done as well without Law Preview. Thanks!

I think it was a big help because I knew what to expect going in and knew how to handle it. [Ranked #11 out of 235].

It was very helpful having a preview of each course, the vocabulary and general concepts of my first-semester curriculum. The familiarity with first-year law school concepts allowed me to internalize the issues rather than just trying to understand them. Experiencing the diversity of teaching methods from Law Preview enabled me to better prepare and adjust to each of the teaching styles of my professors [ranked #5 out of 240 after first semester].

[Law Preview] gave me great confidence going into my exams [ranked #13 out of 231 students].

Hi Don, I attended your class in San Francisco this summer and I just received my first semester grades at Tulane Law School. I made all A's!!!!!! I'm really glad I attended your class, and I really appreciate all of your updates. I never imagined this would happen when I was applying to law school a year ago. This semester, my goal is to make an A+ in every class! Thanks again.

I took Law Preview for an unusual reason. I had taken the LSAT but had not yet applied to school I was hesitant to quit my current job and go to law school; I did not really know if a legal career was right for me. I took Law Preview and had a great time. The lectures and instructors were wonderful. I think I now have a much better idea of what the law is and what to expect from school. I currently have applications pending and am keeping my fingers crossed that I end up at a school with teachers as interesting and competent as those I met at Law preview

Taking Law Preview not only gave me a great introduction to the basic first year law courses, it also gave me a realistic perspective of the kind of work that is required to finish in the top 10% of my class. I was able to land a job with a large firm after my first year and am currently preparing myself for a very successful career in law.

I really feel like I was more prepared than anyone else in my class. This definitely gave me an edge. After the first year I did so well, I'll be attending Washington University in St. Louis in the Fall! Thank you Law Preview! =) [Ranked #1 out of 63 students].

I wanted to let you all know that I just got my acceptance to Law Review in the mail, and I think that Law Preview played a huge part in the fact that I ended up in the top ten percent of my class with a best paper award and Law Review! It gave me an edge- I wasn't nearly as nervous, and I had at least heard of all the major concepts of every first year class before getting sent home with nothing but a casebook for my guide. The briefing skills I learned at Law Preview were the most important factor in my success. I did every brief, every time, just like you all said and to my amazement, it really works!

Law Preview prepared me for what I would face in law school. It gave me confidence and relieved a great deal of stress before and during law school.

My GPA was a 3.78--- 3 A's, 1 B. I believe Law Preview gave me a head start. I was more comfortable in the learning process than many of my classmates.

I think that Law Preview got me in the mindset as to what school was going to demand of me. I didn't know very much about the day to day work or what to expect as to the demands of law school. I believe that law preview prepared me more for what to expect, thereby decreasing the anxiety throughout the first couple of weeks. This helped me focus on my work. I don't think anything can prepare you for the unfortunate day that you first get called on, but I believe Law Preview prepares you as to what you should be studying - what you should be taking out of the cases and putting into your outline.
—Taylor M., University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, Class of 2009

Law Preview allowed me to get an idea of what law school was about so that I knew what professors were talking about when they mentioned the words outlining and case briefs from day one. This class gives you a glimpse of what law school is about so that you already have an advantage over other students who are still trying to get a feel for what is expected of them. That may not seem like a lot but it is enough to put you ahead of at least half the class and any advantage you can have is always good.

Law Preview kept me on course while my classmates seemed confused.

Law Preview was an invaluable experience. I feel that I would have not done as well without taking the courses. Although the substantive material did not completely remain with me throughout the semester, the most valuable aspect of this program was the dose of confidence that it gave me going in to my first semester. Law school, especially your first year, is one of the most grueling, mentally- and emotionally-challenging years of your life and having a bit of extra confidence can really make the difference. Going in prepared helped me to remain on track when school felt overwhelming, and that resulted in an extremely successful first year for me. I credit Law Preview with that! I recommend this program to every incoming 1L.

Law Preview allowed me to hit the ground running as soon as the semester began. I did not have to waste time learning how to read and brief cases. The jump start allowed to stay on top of my studies throughout the year and finish ranked in the top 4%. The preparation Law Preview provided me allowed me to achieve a GPA and ranking that allowed me to transfer to a top 20 law school.

Law Preview helped to eliminate some of the pressure and fear of the unknown when it came to the first year of law school. The professors are top notch and the founders of the company are always available to assist a student with any questions he or she may have throughout the semester. While the program provides background on each first year class along with tips pertaining to outlining, exams, briefing cases, etc., I feel that the true value of the program lies in its ability to mentally prepare an incoming law student, making him or her comfortable with the potential obstacles down the road. Law Preview proved to be an invaluable experience; I finished my first year ranked within the top 5% and am transferring to GWU Law in the fall!

I am thrilled with my grades and with the effort that I put into classes this year. If not for Law Preview I wouldn't have had an idea of what to expect during my first year. By spending a little extra money to prepare myself for the first year of a huge investment it was invaluable. I always knew I could offer something in class just from the daily classes we had in Law Preview. By doing the program it gave me a leg up from everyone who did nothing during the summer. Showing how to correctly brief a case gave me an advantage. While it took three weeks for my classmates to finally get it right I was on top of it before the first class! Law Preview is an investment that every future 1L needs to take advantage of.
