Molly Lien

After graduating from Emory University School of Law, Professor Lien clerked for the Honorable Wilbur F. Pell, Jr. (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit). She spent ten years in private practice, and in 1986 she joined the faculty at IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she directed the legal writing program from 1993-2001and was awarded the Teacher-of-the-Year Award in 2001. Now at John Marshall Law School, Professor Lien was named director of the Lawyering Skills program in 2004. She teaches Lawyering Skills, Civil Procedure II, International Law, International Trade, and Comparative Law.
