Kim Taylor-Thompson

Professor Taylor-Thompson, a graduate of Yale Law School, began her teaching career at Stanford Law School where she quickly earned a reputation as a remarkable teacher. In her first year there, she was the recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award from the Associated Students for the University. In 1994, she received the law school’s John Hurlburt Award for Excellence in Teaching. Professor Taylor-Thompson, whose particular areas of interest are Criminal Law and Ethics, has served on the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, the ABA Criminal Justice Council, and the ABA Standing Committee on Legal Aid and Indigent Defendants.
