Paul McGreal

Professor McGreal joined the Southern Illinois University School of Law faculty in 2006, and was appointed Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in Fall 2009. Professor McGreal received his J.D. from SMU Law School and his LL.M. from Yale Law School. Before joining the SIU faculty, Professor McGreal was the Harry and Helen Hutchens Research Professor at the South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he taught property. He was also on the faculty of the Executive MBA Program of the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where he taught business ethics, social responsibility, and corporate compliance. Prior to academia, Professor McGreal was associated with Baker Botts L.L.P., where he practiced general civil litigation. Professor McGreal has authored numerous publications, including over twenty articles and essays as well as a student textbook and a popular property study aid published by Lexis-Nexis.
