Thomas Holm

Thomas Holm directs the first-year Lawyering Skills Clinical Program and teaches Lawyering Skills and the teaching assistant seminar, also associated with the program. In 2000, he was awarded the University's Distinguished Teaching Award for Lecturers. During law school, Professor Holm was notes and comments editor for the University of Minnesota Law Review, was elected to The Order of the Coif, and received the ABA's Edward J. Devitt Scholarship for excellence in trial advocacy. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and worked as an associate at the firm of Morrison & Foerster.

I love working with students and meeting new people. I especially like working with people who are energized about starting a new profession.
