Lisa Fairfax

Professor Fairfax, Professor of Law and Director, Business Law Program, teaches courses in the business area including Business Associations, Securities Regulation, Unincorporated Business Entities and Contracts II. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Professor Fairfax serves as a faculty advisor for Maryland’s Business Law Society and The Journal of Business and Technology Law. In 2003, Professor Fairfax was voted “Teacher of the Year,� by the University of Maryland Law students. In 2002 and in 2005, Professor Fairfax was voted “Professor of the Year,� by Maryland’s Black Law Students Association.
