Leslie Garfield

Pace University School of Law

Professor Garfield lectures on Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Legal Analysis and Commercial Law. As chair of the American Association of Law Schools' Section on Academic Support, Professor Garfield has spoken throughout the country on issues concerning academic support, time and stress management, learning techniques, and on the educational experience for diversity students. She has published articles on the issue of affirmative action and admissions policies in higher education. Prior to coming to Pace Law School, Professor Garfield was legislative attorney to the Legal Division of the Council of the City of New York, where her responsibilities included legislative drafting, organizing public hearings, coordinating with city agencies and interest groups, and all other tasks relevant to the city's legislative process.
